Product Information

  • Product Name
Mouse Ephrin-A3/EFNA3 (His Tag) recombinant protein
  • Documents
  • Description
Cell surface GPI-bound ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. Binds promiscuously Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. The signaling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward signaling while the signaling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse signaling.
  • Protein name
    Ephrin-A3
  • Protein short names
    EFL-2; EFNA3; MGC129301; EPL3; MGC129300; EPHRIN A3; AW494418; LERK3; LERK-3; EPLG3; EHK1-L; EPHRIN-A3; EFL2
  • Uniprot ID
    O08545
  • Gene Name
    Efna3; Epl3; Eplg3; Lerk3
  • Source/Expression Host
    Human Cells
  • Expression Plasmid/cDNA
A DNA sequence encoding the mouse EFNA3 (NP_034238.1) without the pro peptide (Met 1-Ser 205) was expressed, with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
  • Protein Species
    Mouse
  • Molecular weight
The recombinant mouse EFNA3 consists of 194 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 22.2 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rmEFNA3 is approximately 38 kDa due to glycosylation.
  • Purity
    > 92 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
  • Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse EphrinA3 at 1 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind mouse EPHA6 with a linear ranger of 6.25-400 ng/ml.
  • Validations

    Mouse Ephrin-A3 / EFNA3 Protein (His Tag) SDS-PAGE

    Mouse Ephrin-A3 / EFNA3 Protein (His Tag) SDS-PAGE
