Expression Plasmid/cDNA
A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of human IL13R?2 (NP_000631.1) (Met 1-Leu 342) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.

Molecular weight
The recombinant human IL13R?2/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein after proteolytic removal of the signal peptide. The reduced monomer consists of 563 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 65 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the rh IL13R?2/Fc monomer migrates as an approximately 90-100 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
-
Purity
> 75 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
-
Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human IL13RA2 at 8 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind IL13 with a linear range of 0.25-8.0 ng/ml.
-
Validations
Human IL13RA2 / IL13R Protein (His & Fc Tag) SDS-PAGE
