Background
ZNF259, also named as Zpr1, is an evolutionarily conserved protein characterized by two C4 zinc fingers and two Zpr1-specific conserved homology domains. Zpr1 was first identified in mammalian cells as a cytoplasmic protein that was capable of binding the intracellular domain of the unactivated EGF receptor (EGFR). The MW of this protein is 51 kDa, and this antibody specially recognises the 51 kDa protein.
