Product Information

  • Product Name
Human CD16b/FCGR3B (His Tag) recombinant protein
  • Documents
  • Description
Receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Binds complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, is not capable to mediate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. May serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.
  • Protein name
Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B
  • Protein short names
    RP11-25K21.3; CD16B
  • Uniprot ID
    O75015
  • Gene Name
    FCGR3B; CD16B; FCG3; FCGR3; IGFR3
  • Source/Expression Host
    Human Cells
  • Expression Plasmid/cDNA
A DNA sequence encoding the human CD16b (NP_000561.3) (Met 1-Ser 200) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
  • Protein Species
    Human
  • Molecular weight
The recombinant human CD16b comprises 195 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 22.2 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, rh CD16b migrates as an approximately 50-55 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
  • Purity
    > 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
