Background
ICAM-1 (Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1, CD54), a member of Ig super family, is a glycosylated, transmembrane protein . This protein is involved in cell adhesion by interacting with a number of integrin family members such as LFA-1 and Mac-1. Its expression is regulated by chemokines. This protein migrates approximately 115 kDa on SDS gels. This antibody is specifically againt mouse ICAM1.
