Rabbit CD38 (His Tag) recombinant protein
Synthesizes the second messagers cyclic ADP-ribose and nicotinate-adenine dinucleotide phosphate, the former a second messenger for glucose-induced insulin secretion. Also has cADPr hydrolase activity.
ADP-ribosyl cyclase/cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase 1
Protein short names
CD38; T10; CD38-RS1; ADPRC1
A DNA sequence encoding the rabbit CD38 (Q9MZ03) (Leu43-Met298) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The recombinant rabbit CD38 consists of 267 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 30.5 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 37-46 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
