1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 154.25 g of DL-Dithiothreitol to the solution.
3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
4. Store in the dark (wrapped in aluminum foil) at -20°C (indefinitely). Do not autoclave DTT or solutions containing it.
