Background
USHBP1, also named as Mutated in colon cancer protein 2 or AIE-75-binding protein, is a 703 amino acid protein, which belongs to the MCC family. Highest level of expression is in heart, and moderate to low expression in skeletal muscle, kidney, liver, small intestine, placenta and lung.
