  • Background
TRIM15(Tripartite motif-containing protein 15) is also named as RNF93, ZNF178, ZNFB7 and belongs to the TRIM/RBCC family. It acts as an ubiquitin-protein ligase and contributs to the endogenous restriction of retroviruses in cells. This protein has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
