Description
The LTA4 hydrolase is covalently modified and inactivated during catalysis by its endogenous lipid substrate LTA4, a process commonly referred to as suicide inactivation. This 21 amino acid peptide is involved in the binding of LTA4 to the native enzyme and may help understanding the mechanism of suicide inactivation.
