Canine FGF9 (Fc Tag) recombinant protein

May have a role in glial cell growth and differentiation during development, gliosis during repair and regeneration of brain tissue after damage, differentiation and survival of neuronal cells, and growth stimulation of glial tumors.

A DNA sequence encoding the canine FGF9 (NP_002001.1) (Leu4-Ser208) was expressed with the Fc region of mouse IgG1 at the N-terminus.
The recombinant canine FGF9 comprises 441 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 49.8 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 50 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
