Background
COX7C(Cytochrome c oxidase subunit 7C, mitochondrial) is the terminal enzyme in the mitochondrial respiratory chain (oxidative phosphorylation OXPHOS), catalyzing the elctron transfer from reduced cytochrome c to molecule oxygen. This protein belongs to the cytochrome c oxidase VIIc family. The full length protein has a transit peptide with 16 amino acids. This antibody is specifc to COX7C.
