Pyronin Y (PY) Solution Preparation and Recipe

Pyronin Y(G) (PY) is a dye used for DNA staining. PY has orange spectral emission that is easily distinguishable from FITC and 7-AAD.

To prepare L  Pyronin Y (PY) Solution

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 1 g of Pyronin Y to the solution.
3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
4. Store at 4°C protected from light.
