Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) (1x) Preparation and Recipe

To prepare L  Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) (1x)

Table 1. Recipe

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 8.006 g of Sodium chloride to the solution.
3. Add 0.201 g of Potassium Chloride to the solution.
4. Add 0.244 g of Potassium dihydrogen phosphate to the solution.
5. Add 1.419 g of Sodium phosphate dibasic to the solution.
6. Adjust the pH to 7.4.
7. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
8. Autoclave for 40 minutes at 121°C
