To prepare L  G418 (Geneticin) Stock Solution

1. Prepare 0.8 L of distilled water in a suitable container.
2. Add 20 g of G418 disulfate to the solution.
3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
4. Prewet a 0.22um syringe filter by drawing through 5-10ml pf sterile H2O and discard water. Sterilize G418 Stock through through the prepared 0.22um syringe filter. Stock may be kept at -20C for 1 year. Working Conc. = 200 µg/mL
