  1. Prepare 0.8 L of DEPC-H2O in a suitable container.
  2. Add 8.181 g of Sodium chloride to the solution.
  3. Add 0.402 g of Potassium Chloride to the solution.
  4. Add 0.221 g of Calcium Chloride to the solution.
  5. Add 1.203 g of Magnesium sulfate anhydrous to the solution.
  6. Add 1.191 g of HEPES(N-2-Hydroxyethylpiperazine-N'-2-ethanesulfonic acid) to the solution.
  7. Add 1.801 g of Glucose to the solution.
  8. Add DEPC-H2O until the volume is 1 L.
  9. Prepare extracellular saline under RNase-free conditions and with caution DEPC-H2O.
