- Prepare 0.8 L of DEPC-H2O in a suitable container.
- Add 8.181 g of Sodium chloride to the solution.
- Add 0.402 g of Potassium Chloride to the solution.
- Add 0.221 g of Calcium Chloride to the solution.
- Add 1.203 g of Magnesium sulfate anhydrous to the solution.
- Add 1.191 g of HEPES(N-2-Hydroxyethylpiperazine-N'-2-ethanesulfonic acid) to the solution.
- Add 1.801 g of Glucose to the solution.
- Add DEPC-H2O until the volume is 1 L.
- Prepare extracellular saline under RNase-free conditions and with caution DEPC-H2O.
