Preparation
This antibody was obtained by immunization of TSPAN3 recombinant protein (Accession Number: NM_005724). Purification method: Caprylic Acid/Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation.

Validations
HeLa cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with Catalog No:107647(TSPAN3 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000
1X10^6 HeLa cells were stained with 0.2ug TSPAN3 antibody (Catalog No:107647, red) and control antibody (blue). Fixed with 90% MeOH blocked with 3% BSA (30 min). Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) with dilution 1:1000.

Background
Tetraspanin-3 (TSPAN3, also known as TM4SF8) is a member of the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family. Tetraspanins, so named because they contain four transmembrane domains, are frequently expressed at the cell surface in association with each other and with other molecules, and they function to regulate cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and differentiation. TSPAN3 regulates the proliferation and migration of oligodendrocytes, a process essential for normal myelination and repair.
