Description
Recombinant protein fragment of human E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCHF11 (residues 166-244), a stable and soluble unit ideal for structural and biochemical studies of ubiquitin-mediated protein regulation.
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCHF11 (EC 2.3.2.27) is a membrane-associated RING finger protein that functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, accepting ubiquitin from E2 conjugating enzymes and directly transferring it to substrates such as CD4. It plays a role in ubiquitin-dependent protein sorting during spermatid development and is localized to cytoplasmic vesicle membranes as a multi-pass membrane protein. This fragment represents a computationally selected region optimized for experimental analysis of its functional domains.
