    Leuprolide is a synthetic analog of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) that modulates gene expression in target tissues. The peptide influences cellular processes by downregulating genes associated with steroid hormone regulation, cell proliferation, inflammation, and intracellular signaling, such as PTGDS, GRP, APLP2, PLTP, and FGFRL1.
